Title: I2C BASED AUTOMATED PERIODIC BELL
abstract:The age of automation started in the eighteenth century when machines began to take over jobs that had previously been performed by human being. If we operate the bell manually, sometimes there occurs some time delay and also it is difficult task to perform. So, in order to avoid such kind of problems we are going for automation. This project titled “I2C BASED AUTOMATED PERIODIC BELL” is to develop a system which generates periodic alarms automatically according to the reprogrammed timings. In this project, real time clock is interfaced with the microcontroller (AT89c51),which works based on inter integrated chip(IIC) protocol. The RTC IC generates the time in seconds, minutes and hours format. The code for the microcontroller is developed to read the data from the RTC and the same will be displayed on the 2*16 LCD in HH:MM:SS format. The system program will be developed to generate alarms at specified time intervals. The relay driver circuit drives the Single pole single through (SPST) relay. For this project we can connect any electromagnetic alarm to generate better sounds.
